What is RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way you can keep track of headlines, stories and information from your most frequented websites without having to visit them regularly to check for updates. Subscribing to the RSS feed will place a tab or series of links in your internet browser, or in your newsreader (also known as an aggregator such as http://www.google.co.uk/reader). Subscribing usually entails bookmarking, via the browser RSS options, our feed url (in the case of our news section this is http://www.torturecare.org.uk/news.xml). The different browsers will offer options in the toolbar to create a tab based on our news feed. People using microsoft browsers can find more information on the Microsoft website.
