Chorlton Open Gardens

Booking group
Date:
Sunday, June 24, 2012 - 11:00 - 17:00
Venue:
Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester

After last year's fantastic success, Chorlton Open Gardens is back.

There will be 11 new gardens including one devoted to growing plants for dyeing, with dyeing demonstrations and one showcasing several local artists. Many of the 2011 gardens will also be open as we realise it is very difficult to see everything on one day. Our Manchester Local Group, who are organising the event, will be offering music, refreshments, plant sales, art and a raffle on the day.

Programmes priced £5 will be on sale from mid May at the four local businesses, Chorlton Bookshop on Wilbraham Road, Blossom Flowers on Manchester Road opposite Unicorn, Chorlton Plant Nursery on Vicars Road and Creative Recycling on Beech Road.

Last year most of the programmes were already sold before the day but the Plant Nursery and Creative Recycling will be open on the Sunday and spare programmes will be sold at Unicorn Grocery as well. To order by post, please click here and complete the contact form at the bottom.

We hope you, your family and friends will be able to join us.
