More Music on a Midsummer Afternoon

If you like the thought of cream teas, chardonnay and sweet summer sounds in one of the most remarkable gardens in Scotland, the Edinburgh Supporters Group's midsummer garden party is the perfect occasion for you!
Lying next to the twelfth-century Duddingston Kirk, where the lower slopes of Arthur's Seat meet Duddingston Loch, this secluded garden is the result of the imagination, dedication and sheer hard work of Drs. Andrew and Nancy Neil. It has sometimes been called Edinburgh's Secret Garden. The garden has been televised on three occasions, and has won a number of awards. Most notably, in 1991, Drs Andrew and Nancy Neil were awarded the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Medal by the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society.
There will be a mix of instrumental and choir music featuring Mairi Campbell, Sangstream, Zawadi Alba, Accord, Edinburgh Mandolin & Guitar Orchestra, Freilach un Tsores Klesmer Band plus crafts and poetry throughout the afternoon accompanied by delicious food and drink.
Tickets are £8/£5 concessions and are available at the gate or from mfedinburgh@hotmail.com
