This year, Ex Cathedra has donated a limited number of tickets to their popular summer concert 'A Whole New World: Summer Vespers by Candlelight' featuring their Internationally renowned Choir and Junior Academies of Vocal Music.

For our popular annual concert at the summer solstice and to complement the Olympic spirit of mutual understanding and friendship, we have developed a new Vespers sequence. Sung by candlelight, there is music from around the world by Araujo, Charpentier, Fanshawe, Harvey, Pärt, Rachmaninov, and Whitacre. There is African drumming, a stunning Indian vocalized tabla called Speaking in Tongues, and another chance to hear Alec Roth's Hymn to Gaia, sung in Ancient Greek – one of 10 languages in the concert. - Ex Cathedra

Jeffrey Skidmore - conductor
Simone Rebello - percussion

Tickets are £30, with some of the best seats in the house.

All proceeds will go directly towards the work of Freedom from Torture to help surivors of torture rebuild their lives.
