Walk across beautiful parks and river paths!

Now in its 11th year, the Heart of England Supporters Group's annual sponsored walk will be a fun day out for all and a great way to meet people and raise funds for our work.
The route will cover about nine miles incorporating beautiful heritage trails, river paths and parkland and will take in a convenient hostelry for lunch.
Please put on your walking shoes and support this event.
The meeting point is the rear courtyard to The Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH. The MAC is easily accessible using all the major city road routes and is served by a number of buses from Birmingham City Centre.
The walkers will meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 start. From there the route goes on to the canal at Birmingham University, along the towpath to Lifford Lane Bridge, crossing over the towpath to join the Rea Valley Heritage Trail followed by a walk around Highbury Park and finishing again at the MAC.
To register, get a map of the route and a sponsorship form please contact Rebecca Cordell on 0121 314 6825 or e-mail rcordell@freedomfromtorture.org.
Can't join us for the walk but would like to find out more about what's going on locally or meet like-minded people in your area? We are always looking for new members and supporters to join the Heart of England Local Group. If you are interested, please contact Derek Bennett on 0121 454 9669 or email db@hayfinance.co.uk.
We do hope to see you there and let's hope the sun shines!
