The Random House Group

Staff at the Random House Group, one of the UK’s largest general book publishing companies, recently voted to make The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture their company charity for the year ahead.

Everyone is getting involved in this exciting partnership. Recent highlights include:

    • Author Xanthe Milton (also known as Cookie Girl) gave a mouth-watering demonstration in person at the Pomegranate Tree.
    • Members of our Write to Life creative writing group visited staff at head office to read from their new anthology.
    • Staff are recycling inkjet cartridges and old mobile phones using Medical Foundation recycling envelopes and have £550 raised so far!
  • Members of the Medical Foundation Bread Group baked delicious food and sold it at a High Tea event at the Group’s Ealing office.

Future events and initiatives include a pub quiz, Christmas fairs, book donations and an array of volunteering opportunities.
