Death of Pinochet is Regrettable

The fact that Augusto Pinochet, who has died, will now not face a court of law to answer for the murderous activities of his regime is regrettable, says the MF.
Chilean torture survivor Luis Munoz chose the Medical Foundation's London premises as the venue for the launch of his autobiography, Being Luis, which tells of his ordeal at the hands of the Pinochet regime in the 1970's.
The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture is delighted at the decision of Chile's Supreme Court to strip General Augusto Pinochet of his immunity from prosecution.
A report which challenges the findings of the neuropsychological exam carried out on former Chilean Head of State Augusto Pinochet for the Home Office, have been entered into court proceedings in Chile.
