The overall mission of the Training and Capacity Building Programme is to offer programmes of learning that promote improved change in practice and attitudes that will enhance the quality and provision of services for survivors of torture in the UK and abroad. To that end, Freedom from Torture uses methodologies which actively foster experiential and participatory exploration of the key issues and challenges in working with survivors of torture.
The Training and Capacity Building team leads on the coordination of capacity building interventions in London and the Southeast as well as on any Freedom from Torture national or international training programmes.
