Referring Clients for Medico-Legal Reports (MLRs)

The production of Medico-Legal Reports (MLRs) forms a core part of our clinical work. An MLR can play a crucial role in a survivor’s asylum application because they provide detailed evidence of the extent of a torture survivor’s injuries and trauma. Our team of clinical staff, expertly trained in this area, apply international standards for documenting torture in the assessments they deliver.

Referrals in the Yorkshire and Humber and the North West regions

Legal representatives who are representing clients living in the Yorkshire and Humber and the North West regions will need to instruct the North West centre directly to the Medico-Legal Report Service, FFT North West, 1st Floor North Square, 11-13 Spear Street, Manchester, M1 1JU.
