Join us for a world-class evening of gourmet street food and entertainment in support of Freedom from Torture

We are delighted to announce the Great Street Feast will once again be returning to the prestigious BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on Wednesday 20 June 2018.

Hosted by Ian Hislop and John McCarthy CBE, this prestigious award-winning event will feature some of London’s finest chefs cooking up the ultimate menu, just for you! This year’s event, which coincides with World Refugee Day, will be a true celebration of food and flavours from around the world.

You will be able to interact with chefs and celebrities in this street-market inspired setting with colourful food and sizzling flavours being created and cooked up before your eyes. Specially selected fine wines from Farr Vintners will be flowing throughout the evening, as well as a gastronome-inspired Live Auction and Grand Raffle.

Tickets are priced at £65 and include all food, wine and entertainment.

I spent an afternoon with Freedom from Torture's gardening therapy group. We planted and weeded, they baked bread and we sat on the floor together to share the food they had prepared. I thought, this is what healing is about.

Paul Merrett is an award-winning TV chef and director of renowned three gastro pubs in south-west London: The Victoria, The Fox & Grapes and The Malt House. He has also been awarded a Michelin star twice in his career. He has appeared regularly on Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch and The Secret Chef. and written several cookbooks.

Anton Manganaro has been Head Chef at the prestigious BAFTA HQ for more than 10 years. He is responsible for masterminding the menu of the annual BAFTA Awards, providing an award-winning dining experience for the stars of the silver screen.

Atul Kochhar is the Twice Michelin-starred chef of Mayfair’s Benares and one of the most critically acclaimed chefs in Britain for his take on modern Indian cuisine. He is a regular on TV shows including Masterchef Goes Large, Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen.

Vitelio Reyes and Luca Depalo are Group Executive Chef and Head Chef at award-winning Peruvian restaurants Ceviche and Andina. Created by the pioneering Peruvian chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Martin Morales, their cooking celebrates Peruvian traditions fused with London creativity.

César García is the group Head-Chef of renowned Spanish restaurant Iberica, run by Michelin-starred chef Nacho Manzano and celebrated for their innovative modern Spanish cuisine with an Atlantic twist.

William Curley is one of the finest Patissier–Chocolatiers in the UK, whose accolades include four times winner of ‘Britain’s Best Chocolatier by The Academy of Chocolate’ and a gold medal at ‘The Culinary Olympics’.

The Tamil Group Freedom from Torture. Talented cooks from our Tamil Support Group will be offering traditional, nostalgic Sri Lankan dishes which have a special meaning to them. You will have the chance to hear their stories and why food and cooking is so important to their culture and recovery as a survivor of torture.
