Feeding the Darkness
How to get there
Performance by the Journeyman Theatre of ‘Feeding the Darkness’ in support of Cycle against Torture
Commissioned by Quaker Concern for the Abolition of Torture, the play frames the disturbing issue of torture through a series of monologues and duologues which explore how the UN Convention Against Torture is being abused by both UK and world-wide governments. The performance is part of a series of events scheduled along the route of Cycle against Torture, an 865-mile sponsored bike ride from Hastings to Edinburgh in aid of Freedom from Torture.
The performance will start at 7.00pm. There will be buffet refreshments from 6pm and a short presentation about Cycle against Torture at the beginning.
