Historic Handsworth & Jewellery Quarter sponsored walk

Join our Birmingham supporters group for a fascinating and insightful walk around historic Handsworth and Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, an area steeped in incredible history.

The 5 mile route will start at Soho Benson Road and continue to Handsworth Park past the famous Windrush sculpture. Walkers will visit St Mary's Church and  St Mary's cemetery and continue via Thornhill Road to look at Saranjit Birdi's 'Under the Sun' sculpture. From St Michael's the walk will go to the Jewellery Quarter (passing Winson Green, All Saints Hospital, and taking in a small part of the Soho Loop canal) where it finishes at the Jewellery Quarter West Midland Metro station.
