The Nationality and Borders Bill is currently being considered by Parliament.

What does it mean for people fleeing persecution, torture and war?

What are the implications for refugees? And for our country?

Bristol and Bath supporters group, along with Student action for Refugees, is hosting a zoom talk on the anti-refugee bill and what this means for people fleeing persecution, torture and war. The talk has important guest speakers and you will hear from:

  • Thangam Debbonaire MP, Shadow Leader of the House of Commons,

  • Sile Reynolds, Senior Policy Advisor at Freedom from Torture and 

  • A member of One Strong Voice, with direct lived experience of the UK immigration or asylum system. 

Followed by an opportunity to ask your questions.
