Online art auction launched

We're pleased to be hosting an exclusive online auction of over 60 pieces of art, with all proceeds raising vital funds to best support survivors of torture.

Our charity auction includes works from Antony Gormley, Patrick Hughes, Quentin Blake, Jim Dine, Paula Rego, Howard Hodgkin and many more.

As well as works from some of the most celebrated names within the art world, this online art auction also provides opportunity to bid on distinctive and entirely one-off works from our lived experience clients, who have found sanctuary and solace in the creation and production of beautiful artwork.

Bidding begins: Monday 27th October at 10:30am

Bidding closes: Monday 10th November 2025 at 8:45pm

‘Whispers of the Water Lilies “Where stillness blooms in quiet beauty.”, (2025) Acrylic on Canvas, donated by Niluka.

You could be the proud owner of some exceptional works that have helped someone in their healing journey, while supporting the journeys of others through your generosity. Niluka, who has kindly donated ‘Whispers of the Water Lilies “Where stillness blooms in quiet beauty.” says:

This painting is dedicated to survivors of torture, overcoming trauma, and shining a light on injustice. It speaks of resilience, compassion, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. By supporting this work, you are helping bring hope and healing to those who need it most.

There’s just 14 days to take part in our charity fundraising auction and be in with the chance of investing in some incredible artwork, all while supporting our art therapy and other vital services for survivors of torture.

Our art therapy supports survivors of torture by creating a safe space to communicate and express difficult to process emotions, and some pieces from survivor artists will be available via our online art auction.

Anthony Gormley has kindly donated this piece to Freedom From Torture art auction to be bid on. It features a grey background with a figure of a person.

"TOWARDS THE LIGHT I", (2024) Carbon and casein on washi paper, donated by Antony Gormley.
