Conductor Stephen Brearley will once again bring together a unique ensemble of 75 musically gifted doctors to play in aid of Freedom from Torture.

This year, the concert features outstanding violinist, Simon Zhu, in his first appearance with the Doctors’ Orchestra, presenting a beautiful Nordic inspired programme.

Zhu is a prizewinner of the prestigious 2021 Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition, and the young virtuoso has already toured internationally with concerts across the globe in Switzerland, Belgium, France and China.

The funds raised from this concert will allow Freedom from Torture to provide psychological support and group therapy in areas such as music and art, as well as offering vital legal and welfare aid.
