Everesting is simple in concept but don't let that fool you. Cyclists, runners and walkers alike are challenged to pick any hill, anywhere in the world and ride repeats of it in a single activity until you climb 8,848m – the equivalent height of Mt Everest.

Complete the challenge, and you’ll find your name in the official Everesting Hall of Fame, alongside the best climbers in the world.

When does the Everesting Challenge take place?

Choose any day during the year that suits you. It doesn't matter how long it takes, but it must be completed in one attempt (i.e. no sleeping in between). Breaks for meals are fine. You can break for as long or as little as you like but keep in mind how long you're spending still.

How do I enter the Everesting Challenge?

Sign up below to let us know you're taking on the challenge. It's totally free to enter and the fundraising target is up to you to set too.

You can also cycle, run or take on the challenge virtually
