'Faces and Spaces' Refugee Week 2019 Exhbition

Date
Venue
London

This Refugee Week, you are invited to an exhibition of photography created by young people who have survived torture. They were produced as a part of the Accumulate Photography project which aims to empower disadvantaged young people through creativity and this is the first time they have been brought together to be shown to the public.

‘Faces and Spaces’ is an exciting opportunity to understand the young people we support. From abstract works to studio photography, each photographer has their own story to tell about their experience of London as they explore the city camera in-hand.

On behalf of the artists and all of those who have supported this journey, we hope the images offer a chance to reflect, appreciate, and bring people together from all backgrounds.

The event will be held at Freedom from Torture’s London centre, where people who have survived torture receive therapy and find a place to heal.
