Write to Life is the creative writing and performance group that supports current and former clients from Freedom from Torture to tell stories in different art forms. Write to Life is the longest running refugee writing group in Britain and the only one specifically for survivors of torture.

Members of Write to Life will be performing new work they've written in response to objects on display in the British, South Asian and Middle Eastern galleries of the Victoria and Albert Museum, as part of the opening day of Refugee Week on Sunday, June 16. Surprising, moving and revealing, this writing sheds unexpected new light on objects seen from the refugee perspective - in a way, refugees themselves.

Free tours start at the main entrance at 13.00, 14.15, 15.00 and 16.00, and every tourist will receive a beautiful, specially made booklet containing all the work and images of the objects.
