Hackney Half Marathon 2021
The Hackney Half is back and we are thrilled to be taking part with a team of runners this year!
Usually each year 25,000 runners take part and thousands of cheering spectators line the iconic course through central London from Dalston to the Olympic Park.
When is the Hackney Half Marathon 2021?
The Hackney Half Marathon 2020 was been postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak and will now take place on Sunday 26th September 2021.
The Hackney Half Marathon is part of the Hackney Festival of Fitness There will be food, music and plenty of activities taking place, including a 5km race over the weekend too!
How do I enter the Hackney Half marathon?
We are so pleased to have charity places for the Hackney Half this year. If you would be interested in applying and signing up for one of our charity places then please click the link below and complete the form.
Please note, if you are successful in your Freedom from Torture charity entry application, we ask you to pay a registration fee of £25 and we encourage you to raise sponsorship for Freedom from Torture.
What are charity entries?
Charity entries to challenge events are special charity places which you can get outside the usual ballot.
To get a charity place, there will be specific requirements that you need to meet. But in return, you’ll get:

- Training and fundraising advice
- Freedom from Torture running t-shirt/vest
- A cheer team along the route
- A dedicated point of contact for any questions that you might have in the build-up to the race
