Home Cycle against Torture 2020
Based on the successful Cycle Against Torture journey of 865 miles from Hastings to Edinburgh undertaken in July 2019, our Brighton & Hove group is replicating this journey 'virtually' from their Brighton homes during lockdown through June 2020.
The ride ‘sets off’ at 9am on Monday June 1st 2020 and will finish on Tuesday 30th June.
You can follow the riders' progress on the group's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BrightonFreefromTorture where their mileage will be represented on a map of the original ride. The cyclists will be posting daily on Facebook and Twitter. True, the scenery may not change much but there’s lots to see and think about even when you’re cycling in the same place.
If you would like to be part of this unique challenge and contribute your own miles to this great adventure, simply sign up at https://www.myvirtualmission.com/missions/51105/virtual-cycle-against-torture-2020 where you can join the other cyclists and log your own mileage. We would love you to be part of the team!
