New officers elected to Freedom from Torture's Board of Trustees

Freedom from Torture has this week announced that several new officers have been elected to the organisation's Board of Trustees.

Dr. Frank Margison takes on the role of Chair of Trustees and Mr. Daniel Dayan assumes the post of Vice-Chair, whilst also continuing as Chair of the Finance and Performance Committee. Ms. Susan Munroe is elected to the position of Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee.

The appointments follow the tragic death of Alison Wetherfield, Freedom from Torture's indefatigable Chair of Trustees, on 31 July 2012. Alison had dedicated eight years to the Board of Trustees, serving as Chair since January 2008.
